You Don't Need High PageRank

by Jeremy Wilson

For many search engine optimizaers, PageRank has become the measuring stick for a site's success.

This got me thinking. Are there any successful
websites that have low PageRank?

It's easy to surf the web and find low PR sites but
where can I find information that proves a site is
successful?

As a member of the Secrets To Their Success membership
site, I receive two case studies each month about
successful web entrepreneurs.

Each case study is about 30 pages in length and goes
over in great detail how people are making a living online.

Knowing these were successful sites, I went to every
one that was profiled in the last 5 months and
made note of each site's PageRank.

Out of the 10 sites profiled, three of them had a
PageRank of 3 or less.

Finally some evidence that a web site can succeed
without high PageRank!

Below you will find links to these sites and the brief
description used by the Secrets To Their Success Site.

PageRank 2:

U-Coupons.com

Bing Wen has been an avid online shopper since the
advent of the Internet, and when she found out she
could use coupons to shop with discounts, she decided
to turn it up a notch!

Bing started U-Coupons.com to share her finds with her
friends... But by joining a few affiliate programs,
she began earning up to $100 per referred sale! Find
out how Bing's site turns 45% of its visitors into
repeat visitors, and how she spends only 20 hours per
week running her highly successful business.

PageRank 2:

GovernmentAuctionsUK.co.uk

Paul Tranter of GovernmentAuctionsUK.co.uk pulls in
over $150,000 of pure profit a year from this one site
-- even though he works only ONE DAY a month!

By targeting a niche market, automating like crazy,
and tapping into the power of "contra deals," Paul has
turned an idea and $150 into a fully automated
subscription service that keeps his customers "hooked"
on his offer and maintains an astounding 99% renewal
rate!

Page Rank 3:

RapidFireSwingTrading.com

See how Stephen Pierce uncovered a market need and
transformed it into RapidFireSwingTrading.com -- a
$400,000 per year success story that cost him less
than $300 to set up and that attracts over 36,000
visitors per month.

Discover how 35% of Stephen's total revenues are
generated through affiliate marketing, and how he
sells his "ChartTraders Service" for $79 per month to
more than 7,000 eager subscribers!

To learn more about these and other sites, you can get
access to the site free for a month by going clicking below:

http://www.googuide.com/success.htm

Sign up, print out the case studies and then cancel your
membership. No muss no fuss and NO charge.

Of course, I got hooked on the site and never got
around to canceling. If you decide to stay a member,
it is $17 a month.

The membership site is useful if you want to learn
more about creating a successful e-business but the
main reason for even mentioning it is to drive home
the point:

PageRank is NOT the be all end all of Google
optimization.

It should play a part in your optimization efforts but
improving PageRank should not be your only focus.
